Not your grandma’s dish
Kick your red beans and rice recipe up several notches by substituting rice with these smashed potatoes (Recipe Red Beans Smashed Potatoes). It’s simple — in fact I made it all in a rice cooker — and yummy.
I made these first from dried beans which I soaked overnight.
